Nominate an Arizona Sustainability Leader

Who is doing incredible work with nature in Arizona?

Nominate them to be recognized as an Arizonan Sustainability Leader at an Earth Day event in April 2025.

We enthusiastically welcome nominations of diverse candidates working in all areas of sustainability — from landscapers to nonprofit organizations, sportspeople to conservationists, artists to farmers, companies to elementary school teachers. Think big and bold! Who is doing innovative things that deserve to be celebrated?

Award winners will receive an invitation to a sustainability event, a custom award statute, press coverage, and bragging rights as an Arizona Sustainability Leader. A prominent panel will select award winners through a competitive process.

This contest is sponsored by the Radically Reimagining Initiative, in collaboration with Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. The Arizona Sustainability Leaders award was created by Professor Karen Bradshaw in 2022 to create a salon of environmental thought-leaders in the state, as part of an International Earth Day event. Bradshaw is an award-winning wildlife and nature advocate at Arizona State University and the author of Wildlife as Property Owners, a New Conception of Animal Rights. Check out last year’s amazing list of award winners here.
