KAREN BRADSHAW IS A WRITER, WILDLIFE ADVOCATE, AND SCHOLAR. HER WORK INVITES OTHERS TO RADICALLY REIMAGINE THE HUMAN RELATIONSHIP WITH NATURE.

Bradshaw is the author of the internationally acclaimed book Wildlife as Property Owners: A New Conception of Animal Rights. The book addresses biodiversity loss by expanding the right to own property to animals. Wildlife as Property Owners was featured in the 2022 GRAMMY gift bags and was “highly recommended” in a Forbes book review. Media outlets including ForbesFortuneThe Atlantic, BloombergNational Public RadioNPR's Planet Money, and The New York Times have featured Bradshaw’s work.

Bradshaw is a Senior Sustainability Scientist at the Global Institute of Sustainability and Professor of Law at Arizona State University. She has degrees in law and business administration (JD/MBA/BS). Bradshaw grew up near the Klamath and McCloud rivers and now resides in the Sonoran desert.
